LEGO 76294 The X-Mansion: which figures only come here, the depth problem and where to buy it in Spain

By Rubén Bloques · Updated: 16 October 2026

BUYING GUIDE · SPAIN · Reviewed: 16 October 2026 · Set details checked against Brickset and reviews · Set on sale, not retired · Facts and estimates kept apart

LEGO 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion

Image: BrickLink

It is the only X-Mansion LEGO has made and it includes three characters who had never had a minifigure. In exchange, every review we have read complains about the same thing: the building has very little depth. On top of that, today in Spain it can almost only be bought from LEGO.

Set page, price history and retirement alert

Verdict

Buy it at the official price (329.99 €) and from LEGO if you want Gambit, Bishop or Iceman, or if this building is missing from your Marvel street. Don’t pay the 390–450 € some resellers are asking. If you are looking for a big mansion to play inside the rooms, this set will disappoint you.

  • Gambit (sh0994), Bishop (sh0996) and Iceman (sh0995) have no other minifigure, according to Brickset as of 16 October 2026. They are the strongest reason to buy it.
  • It is not true that it repeats four figures from the X-Jet. Some reviews say so, but only Rogue (sh0942) is the same figure. Wolverine, Cyclops and Magneto are new variants.
  • Depth is the problem shared by all six reviews we looked at. The rooms are small, Cerebro has no room of its own and to move the set you have to hold it by the base.
  • Availability: according to Brickset it is exclusive to LEGO. On Amazon.es the listing exists but has no stock, and our radar has not seen any Spanish shop with stock in the last 7 days.
QuestionShort answer
How many minifigures does it include?10, plus a buildable Sentinel. 9 of the 10 are variants that only come in this set (Brickset, 16 Oct 2026).
How big is it?About 40 × 27 × 25 cm (width, height and depth), according to MiniSuperHeroesToday (0:30). The base is 48 × 32 studs (Solid Brix, 1:30). Brickset doesn’t publish dimensions.
How much does it cost?Official price 329.99 €. As of 16 October 2026 we have not found any Spanish shop other than LEGO with stock and a checked price.
When does it retire? On 31 December 2026 according to LEGO’s list (Brickset and our set page). It is a date that may move.
Does it connect to the Marvel modulars?Yes. It comes with connectors that fix the height difference with the Daily Bugle (Ashnflash, 11:00; JANG, 5:00).

Is it for you?

  • Do you want to display it? It fits, with reservations. It works as a “frozen scene” of the battle against the Sentinel, with transparent stands and pieces to recreate the damage (JANG, 0:30–1:30). But it sits set back: next to city modulars it looks out of place, and next to Avengers Tower or the Sanctum it fits better (Solid Brix, 18:30–19:00). The right side is a plain, flat ash-toned wall that neither JANG (4:00) nor TodoBrick (8:30) like.
  • Do you want to play with it? It fits poorly. It has functions: a rear lever that blows up the rotunda, turrets that pop out of the lawn and interchangeable panels in the Danger Room. But the rooms are small. JANG calls it the “danger closet”: with one figure and its accessories it is already full (11:30–13:00). TodoBrick says you can’t get your hand in (15:30).
  • Are you after the figures? It depends on which characters. Gambit, Bishop and Iceman are only here. If you already have the X-Jet and only want Rogue, there is nothing new for you here.
QuestionIf you answer…Then
1. What do you want it for?Displaying next to other Marvel setsIt fits. Go to question 3.
Playing inside the roomsConsider another option. See “What the piece count doesn’t tell you”.
2. Which figures are you after?Gambit, Bishop or IcemanThis set is today the only way to get them.
Rogue, or any Wolverine or MagnetoLoose figures or a second-hand X-Jet will work out cheaper.
3. Where are you buying it and at what price? From LEGO at 329.99 €It fits, if questions 1 and 2 have led you here.
From a reseller for more than the official priceWait. Retirement doesn’t mean immediate scarcity, and LEGO still has it in its range.
4. Do you have room for 40 cm of width and 25 of depth?I don’t knowA fact is missing: measure before buying. The dimensions come from a review, not official ones.

Sets to compare

No other X-Men set is left on sale: the X-Jet (76281) left LEGO’s range on 31 December 2025. These are the adult Marvel alternatives still on sale.

Our view. None of the three alternatives replaces the X-Mansion if what you want is the X-Men. They only change the decision if you don’t mind which team. Avengers Tower is the only one in the same league as a building, but it costs 170 € more at official price and today it is also out of stock on Amazon.es. The Helicarrier costs less than the X-Mansion thanks to Amazon’s discount, but it is a display piece with no playable interior. TodoBrick compares the X-Mansion with the Sanctum Sanctorum (76218, already retired) and says he doesn’t see “100 € of difference” between them (19:00).

What the piece count doesn’t tell you

Build. It comes in 24 bags and 3 manuals, one per section, so several people can build it together (Solid Brix, 3:00; Ashnflash, 1:30). It has 56 stickers, 8 of them optional for the Sentinel damage (Solid Brix, 3:30). Solid Brix finds them excessive. Ashnflash defends them because they allow many references (2:00). JANG thinks the X-Men #1 comic should be printed (18:30).

Display. All six reviews we looked at say the same thing in different words: it lacks depth.

  • Solid Brix: the box makes the set look bigger than it is, and the shallow depth is his biggest complaint (9:30). The building only takes up half of the base in depth (17:30).
  • MiniSuperHeroesToday: the rear alley “wastes” four rows of studs that would be needed inside (14:00).
  • TodoBrick: the rooms are “extremely small” (11:30). For him, the mistake was making it modular, because a rear alley makes no sense in a mansion (19:30–20:30).
  • Ashnflash: it feels low and could do with a third floor (2:30, 7:30).
  • The only nuanced opinion is JANG’s, who prefers having lawn in front even though that takes away depth (7:00) and concludes that the building is “not as bad” as he expected (34:00).

Play and functions. Cerebro disappoints three of the four reviews that discuss it: it is a helmet and a screen inside the lab, with no room of its own (Solid Brix, 15:00; MiniSuperHeroesToday, 20:00; Ashnflash, 28:00). JANG accepts it (16:00). The rear lever blows up the rotunda (Solid Brix, 10:30; JANG, 2:30), although TodoBrick thinks he will never use it (9:00). The lift on the facade is decorative (JANG, 15:00).

Stability. The three sections are joined with two Technic axles. If you pick the set up by the upper floors, it comes apart: you have to hold it by the base plates (Solid Brix, 11:00 and 17:30). JANG finds it flimsy when lifting it (10:30), and Ashnflash reports that some decorative pieces pop off at the slightest touch (12:30).

The Sentinel. This is the clearest disagreement among the reviews. For MiniSuperHeroesToday it is “absolutely massive” (9:30) and for Ashnflash it is the best version LEGO has made (30:30). On the other hand, for TodoBrick it is too small, almost an accessory (7:00), and for JANG it could be bigger (19:30). They all agree that it has lots of joints and that the chest core is a sticker. JANG adds that the fingers come off easily (21:30).

Price. At the official price it works out at about 10.7 cents per piece. What people complain about is not the piece count but the interior space. Solid Brix puts the limit at 300 $ (22:30–24:00). ZachMRutledge thinks it would be justified at between 200 and 250 $ (3:30). JANG would accept 279.99 $ if it came with more figures and better printing (32:30). None of them defends it with enthusiasm at 329.99 $. In Spain we have not seen discounts that bring it below that price.

Images: BrickLink (link on each code).

We correct two common errors. TodoBrick says the set repeats four figures from the X-Jet and that Wolverine and Cyclops are identical (17:30, 21:30). Solid Brix (4:00) and MiniSuperHeroesToday (1:00) also call Wolverine “the same”. According to Brickset, only Rogue is the same figure. Wolverine, Cyclops and Magneto have codes different from those of the X-Jet, and Cyclops now has printing on the hips and legs. There is a nuance: the new Wolverine looks very much like the earlier one, because only the torso and face change (Ashnflash, 33:56). The second error is thinking that “9 of 10 exclusive” means 9 new characters: there are only three characters who didn’t exist in LEGO before (Gambit, Bishop and Iceman). The other six are new versions of characters who already had a figure.

What the reviews say about each figure.

  • Professor X: his suit torso and reused head draw complaints almost unanimously (MiniSuperHeroesToday, 3:30; Ashnflash, 33:00).
  • Wolverine: three reviews find him worse than the one in the 2023 Marvel Collectible Minifigures, because he has no printed arms or two-tone legs (Ashnflash, 33:56; MiniSuperHeroesToday, 1:00; JANG, 23:30).
  • Gambit: very well liked, although his three cards are a sticker (JANG, 25:00; Ashnflash, 40:30).
  • Jean Grey: divides opinion. MiniSuperHeroesToday (7:30) and Ashnflash (39:00) like her. TodoBrick finds her the most disappointing, because the flesh-tone face printed on a dark background looks washed out (4:30), and he points out the same problem with Gambit (6:00).
  • Missing: several reviews miss Beast, Jubilee and Nightcrawler (TodoBrick, 21:30; JANG, 33:00).

What we don’t claim. That these figures will stay exclusive: they are as of 16 October 2026 according to Brickset, because BrickLink didn’t let us look up inventories. Nor do we settle whether Storm’s torso is the same as the 2023 collectible’s: Solid Brix (5:30) and Ashnflash (36:30) say yes, and MiniSuperHeroesToday (4:00) says almost everything is new. Brickset also lists an Iceman variant (sh0995a) with no associated set, and we don’t know what it corresponds to.

How much are they worth? Brickset gives as a reference about 62 € for Gambit, about 29 € for Jean Grey, about 25 € for Iceman and about 21 € for Bishop. These are reference values, not sales we have checked, and adding them up makes no sense: selling loose figures has costs and takes time.

Is it worth buying this set for its minifigures? Only if you want Gambit, Bishop or Iceman, who today can’t be had any other way, or if you are interested in the Cyclops with printed legs. If what you are after is Rogue, Wolverine or Storm, there are already similar or identical versions in other sets, and several reviews complain about the finish of these ones. For the figures alone, without caring about the building, 329.99 € is a lot: first compare with what is being asked for a loose Gambit, shipping included.

Will the X-Mansion go up in value?

FactsSignsUncertainties
Listed retirement on 31 Dec 2026. Exclusive to LEGO according to Brickset. Today we don’t see it in stock at any Spanish shop we track. Gambit, Bishop and Iceman are only hereIn August 2026, LEGO.es had it “on backorder” and there were resellers asking 390–450 € (Spanish Bricks Channel). These are asking prices, not sales. Brickset gives as a reference about 331 € new and about 277 € usedWhether LEGO restocks it before retiring it. Whether the date holds: Spanish Bricks Channel says LEGO has not officially announced it. Whether another X-Men set comes out that repeats Gambit or Bishop

Comparables, including those that didn’t go up. According to Brickset’s reference values (16 Oct 2026), two already retired Marvel buildings are today above their official price: the Daily Bugle (76178), at about 377 € against 349.99 €, and the Sanctum Sanctorum (76218), at about 292 € against 249.99 €. But the X-Jet, from the same subtheme and retired in 2025, is seen at about 72 € against its official price of 84.99 €. In other words, not everything X-Men goes up when it retires. These are aggregated references, they don’t deduct shipping or fees and they are not sales we have checked.

By condition: sealed keeps everything. Opened and complete loses some value according to Brickset’s reference (about 277 € used against about 331 € new). Without Gambit, Bishop or Iceman it loses the only thing that can’t be had any other way. For the set without figures we have no data.

The possible future appeal of this set rests on being exclusive to LEGO and on including three characters (Gambit, Bishop and Iceman) who today have no other figure, but it depends on how stock ends up after 31 December 2026 and on LEGO not bringing those figures back, and it could be limited by a lukewarm reception in the reviews (little depth, high price) and by the precedent of the X-Jet, which after retiring trades below its official price.

We don’t make price predictions. Buy it if you like it even if it never goes up.

We have also used the Spanish Bricks Channel video of 14 August 2026, but only for availability in Spain. SrPiña’s video comments on the official images without having the set, and AustrianBrickFan’s has no subtitles. Neither of them counts as evidence.

They agree that it has little depth, that Cerebro disappoints, that Gambit, Bishop and Iceman are the best part, that it has many stickers and that it is expensive. They disagree on the size of the Sentinel and on Jean Grey. Problem you can see on video: how little fits in the rooms (JANG, 12:00, with a figure inside). Matter of taste: the look of the X-Men ‘97 series compared with that of the films.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy the LEGO 76294 in Spain? According to Brickset it is exclusive to LEGO. As of 16 October 2026, the Amazon.es listing has no stock and our radar doesn't see any Spanish shop with stock in the last 7 days. We could not check its status on LEGO.es, because it blocks automated access.
Does the X-Mansion repeat figures from the X-Jet 76281? Only Rogue (sh0942). Wolverine, Cyclops and Magneto are different variants according to Brickset, although the Wolverine looks very much like the earlier one.
Does Gambit come in any other set? No, as of 16 October 2026 according to Brickset. Neither do Bishop and Iceman.
Does it connect to the Daily Bugle and the Sanctum Sanctorum? Yes. It comes with modular connectors that fix the height difference with the Daily Bugle (Ashnflash, 11:00; JANG, 5:00). Solid Brix thinks it fits better next to other Marvel buildings than next to the city modulars.
How big is it? About 40 × 27 × 25 cm according to MiniSuperHeroesToday. The base is 48 × 32 studs, which comes to about 38 × 26 cm. LEGO doesn't publish dimensions on Brickset.

Sources and method

This guide is based on documentation and reviews: we have not built the set. Sources consulted on 16 October 2026:

  • Brickset 76294 and its minifigures, plus the page of each figure and of the X-Jet 76281.
  • Amazon.es: listing B0DHZ8G6Q4, identified as the 76294 by its model number, out of stock. Prices of the 76354 and the 76344, sold by Amazon.
  • Our radar: 76294 set page, shops with stock and prices of the alternatives.
  • YouTube: the 6 reviews in the table, with their minute, and the Spanish Bricks Channel availability video.

Pending: check stock, official dimensions and whether it appears as “last chance” on LEGO.es. Look up the inventories on BrickLink (Storm’s torso and the sh0995a variant) and completed sales. Check El Corte Inglés, Carrefour and Fnac, which blocked the query.

Turn on the retirement alert

It is LEGO’s only X-Mansion and the only way to get Gambit, Bishop and Iceman. But inside it is narrower than the box promises, and its figures are not as new as they seem. If it is what you are after, buy it at the official price from LEGO before the end of the year and don’t pay a premium out of fear of the retirement. If what interests you most is playing inside the rooms, or the whole set seems expensive just for three figures, you can let it go.

The retirement dates and official prices quoted come from LEGO’s official product data, synced daily by our radar (this is how we work); the “Updated” date above is that of the latest data review.
