LEGO 75435 Battle of Felucia: Separatist MTT

Its deployment mechanism is the best any LEGO MTT has had. Its price, not so much. We tell you which figures only come here and at what price it makes sense to buy it.

Verdict

Buy it if you want an MTT to play with or to get Commander Bly, and you find it at 120 € or less. At its official price of 149.99 € it isn’t worth it. At today’s 134.99 € it is an acceptable purchase, but not a deal.

  • What justifies the set is its deployment mechanism. Every review we have seen agrees that it works smoothly and without faults.
  • Bly (sw1429) and this version of Aayla Secura (sw1428) only come in this set, according to Brickset as of 14 October 2026. The commando droids are not exclusive.
  • Trade-offs: the rack only holds 6 droids, the pilot lies flat, the model measures about 29 cm and, out of 12 figures, only 2 are named characters.
QuestionShort answer
How many minifigures does it include?12, but only 2 characters: Aayla Secura and Commander Bly. The rest are 6 battle droids, 1 pilot droid and 3 commando droids.
How many droids fit in the rack?Six, three on each side. The commando droids and the pilot are not deployed.
How big is it?About 29 × 13 × 15 cm according to Brickset (length, width and height).
How much does it cost today?134.99 € on Amazon.es (sold and shipped by Amazon) and at Carrefour, against an official price of 149.99 €.
When does it retire? On 31 December 2026 according to LEGO’s list. Brickset doesn’t show a date yet.

Is it for you?

  • Do you want to play with it? It fits. You turn the wheel, the hatches open, the rack lowers and the droids fan out. It has hidden wheels to slide it along, a STAP stored at the back and 8 blasters in storage. TodoBrick and JANG describe it as sturdy to handle.
  • Do you want to display it? It fits, with reservations. The Separatist blue and ash tones work and the radar is printed, but it measures about 29 cm, leaves studs showing on top and the hatches don’t close fully (KeltBricks, Held der Steine).
  • Are you after the figures? It depends on Bly. Bly and this Aayla are only here. The ash-toned commandos and the battle droids can be had in other ways or cost little on their own.
QuestionIf you answer…Then
1. Is it for playing or for the shelf?DisplayPay particular attention to question 3: it is a small model for what it costs.
2. Is deploying 6 droids enough for you?I want an armyYou will need extra droids and, possibly, to modify the rack.
3. How much would you pay?120 € or lessIt fits.
Between 121 and 135 €Reasonable if what you want is Bly.
149.99 €Consider another option or wait: none of the reviews defends it at the official price.
4. Which characters interest you most?Bly or AaylaThis set.
Ki-Adi-Mundi and the marinesThe 75413.
I don’t mindChoose by function: the MTT deploys troops and the Juggernaut doesn’t.

If you buy it from a third-party seller, one fact still needs checking: who is selling it, the shipping and the condition. Today, at MediaMarkt, only third-party sellers offer it, from 151.54 €.

Our view. The 75435 and the 75413 have the same official price and came out at the same time. TodoBrick and Held der Steine prefer the MTT for its function and its sturdiness. The 75431 battle pack doesn’t replace the MTT, it complements it: it includes the clones of the 327th, Bly’s legion, which the MTT doesn’t. The 2014 MTT (75058) is retired and we mention it only as a reference.

What the piece count doesn’t tell you

Build. First you build the STAP and then the Technic frame, the sides, the ramp and the mechanism. TodoBrick highlights an unusual technique: a toothed wheel that meshes directly with ordinary studs, not with Technic gears (min 6). It only has 4 stickers and the radar is printed. Two reviewers complain that the shade of the stickers doesn’t match that of the pieces (JANG 1–2; Held der Steine 2–3).

Display. It measures about 29 cm long with the cannons (Brickset). The most repeated drawbacks: studs showing on top and at the back (KeltBricks 9), hatches that stay slightly open because of the angle of the hull (KeltBricks 14–15; Held 12) and some stud shooters that break the line of the body.

Play. This is the most praised part of the set: TodoBrick (5–6), KeltBricks (9–11), JANG (0 and 3), Brick It On (3), Brickset and The Brothers Brick highlight it. Even Held der Steine, the most critical, says he enjoys it (8). Its limitations:

  • The droids deploy in a single row of six (JANG 3).
  • The blasters are stored at the back, far from the droids (JANG 3–4).
  • The pilot lies flat. KeltBricks shows that, seated, the roof knocks it over (11–12). OB-1 Studios managed to get it a little more upright by placing it carefully (18).
  • Loading the rack is awkward, especially with one hand (KeltBricks 15–16).
  • If you buy it second-hand, check that Bly and Aayla are there; they come in the same bag (AngelsBricks 1).

Price. At the official price it works out at 15.4 cents per piece, and at 134.99 € at 13.8. The piece count doesn’t explain the main complaint, which is the size and that it only includes two named characters. Three reviewers each set, independently, a maximum price of around 120 €: KeltBricks (16) between 115 and 120 €, Brick It On (7–8) 120 € or less and JANG (12–13) 120 $. That is our threshold, and it also matches the lowest price we have seen in 90 days (119.99 €).

What changes in each figure. Bly is his first minifigure. He has a phase 2 helmet with a flip-down visor, a torso with yellow details, a new shoulder piece and a printed skirt rather than a cloth one. Several reviewers complain that his arms are plain and that the legs have no side printing (JANG 8–9; Held 6–7). Aayla has a double-sided face and the lekku piece is the same as in 2017. The shade of the lips and of the torso change. The commando droid has B2 legs, so it is taller than a B1.

We correct two common errors. TodoBrick says Aayla had only come out once before, when in fact there are two earlier variants. AngelsBricks calls the commando droid exclusive, but the same variant came out with a magazine in 2026.

What we don’t claim. That Bly and Aayla will stay exclusive forever: they are as of 14 October 2026 according to Brickset, because we couldn’t check BrickLink directly. Nor do we know whether the magazine with the commando droid is distributed in Spain.

How much are they worth? As a reference, Brickset gives about 45 € for Bly, about 19 € for Aayla and about 4 € for each commando droid. These are reference values, not sales we have checked. An aggregator, Brickranker, estimates about 48 $ for a new Bly based on 525 sales recorded between April and October 2026.

Is it worth buying this set for its minifigures? Only if what you want is Bly: he is the only figure in the set that today can’t be had any other way, although several reviewers consider him not very detailed. For Aayla or the commando droids, the whole set is an expensive way to get them if the MTT doesn’t interest you. Compare the price of Bly on his own, with shipping, with what the set costs (between 120 and 135 €), and don’t count on getting money back by selling the rest.

Will the Felucia MTT go up in value?

FactsSignsUncertainties
Listed retirement on 31 Dec 2026. Bly and this Aayla are only in this set. Today it sells below the official price (134.99 €), with a low of 119.99 € in 90 daysIn Spain it has been selling at a discount for months, a sign that demand at the official price is moderate. Bly is the most valuable figure in the setWhether LEGO brings Bly back. Whether the reference values reflect real sales in Europe. Whether the retirement date holds

The 2014 MTT (75058) doesn’t work as a direct comparison. Today it is seen at about 400 $ sealed (third-party data in the US), but it came out at 90 $, it is from another era and it had its own exclusive figure. Besides, we only know of the cases that went up, not those that didn’t.

By condition: sealed keeps everything that makes it interesting. Opened and complete keeps Bly (Brickset estimates about 113 € used). Without figures it loses the only exclusive thing it has.

The possible future appeal of this set rests on being the only MTT in the Separatist scheme and on including the only Bly minifigure, but it depends on LEGO not bringing back Bly or another Clone Wars MTT, and it could be limited by a high starting official price, the sustained discount in shops and the stock left after retirement.

We don’t make price predictions. Buy it if you like it even if it never goes up.

They agree that the function works well, the set is expensive and the model is small. Problems you can see on video: only 6 droids, the pilot lying flat, the gaps in the hatches and how awkward it is to load the rack. Matter of taste: the shade of the commando droids and the tone of Aayla’s lips.

It is the best MTT to play with of all the ones LEGO has made, and Bly is only here. But it is small and includes few named figures for its official price. If you want it, set an alert for when it drops below 120 €. If it hasn’t dropped by December, you can let it go with no regrets. Comparing it with the Dark Falcon? Read the 75389 guide.
