Pattern over the official data: the official postcard series (flat pictures of cities and motifs).
Data from the daily sync with the LEGO lineup; dates can change and each set page shows the current one.
The LEGO postcards are the most underrated series in the entire range, and we say so with data: in our ranking of pieces per euro based on the official price, the postcards take the very top spots — around 250 pieces for under €15, figures that no set with a big box and a franchise can match. The reason is structural: they are almost all small basic bricks, with no minifigures, no exclusive tooling and no licensing to pay for.
What exactly are they? Flat pictures in postcard format — London, Japan, New York — that you build in a quiet afternoon and stand up or hang as real decor. They do not look like a toy: they look like an object from a museum shop, and that is their charm as a gift. Our theory, tested every Christmas, is that the postcard is the best possible LEGO gift under €15 for an adult, with a trick that lifts it to another category: choosing the city with a personal meaning. The honeymoon city, the city where they studied, the one still on their list. A €14.99 object that looks incredibly thoughtful.
On availability, good news for a change: the current postcards have long retirement dates (all the ones on sale go beyond Three Kings' Day 2027), so this is one of the few pages on the site where there is no need to rush. The list below comes from the official LEGO data synced daily; if LEGO adds a new city or gives one a date, it will show up here on its own. For this series' star use — the office Secret Santa — we have a dedicated guide with budgets.
